Young Bay is the first artist up to bat with his long awaited for album intitled "Bayizm". Rapping since he was a tolddler, the Oakland-native grew up listening to NWA, Too Short and kool Moe Dee. By the time he was five years old, Bay was garnering the attention of other rappers including hip hop legend Too Short, who invited him onstage at a barbecue. His Freestyle was such a hit, Too short asked Bay to record "Get your Hustle on", for his Independence Day compilation, which led to his signing to Short Records/Jive Records.
